Rich people can sleep more than eight hours a day because we pass laws like the tax cut and jobs act that gives them money to keep making more money. Who needs sleep when you have policy and power?

Undoing otherization starts with undoing systemic racism. Real racism is what is in the policies, not what is in your heart. Cultural racism is ugly and a symptom that followed the system of racism. I.e. Racist voter suppression and gerrymandering.

Love this idea of being hard on systems and institutions and systems, soft on people in our work of bridging across difference as we seek big change.

California should recover from its addiction to inequality. We need solidarity economics at scale. Phew big provocations and a comprehensive transformational path forward!
