A typical middle-class family with 2 kids will be $2000 better off in 2019 compared to 2015, making it easier to make ends meet. #cdnpoli #abpoli #yeg #yccpic.twitter.com/ZXYvKCRUjV

It’s amazing to me that the Liberal party thinks Canadians are too stupid to figure out they have LESS money and so you keep repeating how much better off we are. We can count and we know when we have less money. But thanks for your help 🙄

I'm taking a 40% pay cut in 2019 because if your government's failures in pipelines.

        1. No. You're taking a 40% pay cut because pretty much all AB PC govts since the days of Lougheed mismanaged the resource, royalties, and the economy and the past federal CPC govt chose to break the law at every turn to try to get pipelines built, which lead to failure.

        2. Management of the resource and of the provincial economy is a provincial responsibility. "Always blame Liberals" isn't a viable solution to Conservative-created problems.

The Trudeau Liberals cancelled Northern Gateway. That's a straight up fact. How are they not responsible for that?

        1. Northern Gateway was likely never going to happen anyway. And I doubt them canceling Northern Gateway was responsible for the 30 years of Conservative mismanagement that came BEFORE the decision was made. Your current suffering is not a result of the cancellation.

        2. Again, if you are going blame someone/something, it may be more productive to blame the someone/something that actually did you dirty than to blame the someone/something those who actually did you dirty are today instructing you to blame? Just a thought.

        3. It's not that challenging a concept: Trudeau 2018/2019 can't possibly be held responsible for the decisions taken by Alberta and federal governments in power from 1987 - 2015. Like I said: Sometimes the world is more complicated than "it's ALWAYS the Liberals' fault".

        4. But clearly, your string of subsequent tweets shows you've only one interest here: Liberal-bashing. Well, then go for it... but not on my time. Also, Liberal-bashing on Twitter won't help you fix that 40% pay cut. You probably have better things to do with your time. #Block

You’ve got it right, we are on year 3 in alberta with carbon tax, it cost each individual $2,000.00 after all said and done, and you get absolutely nothing back for it , the BS Liberals have to come up with their lies or add another 5% GST to give to the world not Canadians.

Was the income splitting benefit unfair or was it a slight (insufficient) correction for families paying excess taxes for having one large income earner vs two earners with an equivalent combined income? Is it fair for two families with the same income to have different taxes?
