Today, our Government is proud to build on our track record. By announcing more than $1.6 billion to support workers and their families, foster competitiveness, and improve the long-term environmental performance of the industry.

That is exactly what we are focused on. Getting our oil resources to non-U.S markets is very important to our gov’t. That is why we invested in to save it in the first place and now we are moving forward with it in the right way.

Fair enough. We take responsibility of falling short on the indigenous consultations but how often do media point out that the review of marine shipping was excluded when Harper was in power? There is enough blame to go around. Anyways, I am now more focused on getting it right.

Meaningful consultations with indigenous communities are underway as well. Bill C-69 is an effort to fix a broken system that led to pipeline failures. Below are some facts. Love to talk more if you want.

Rob, responding to the issues raised by the court is the most efficient & focused way to move forward on . NEB is currently conducting the review of marine shipping & its impact on marine environment. This should have been done under Harper gov't, a fact often ignored.

Fact: Unlike the Conservatives, Canadians understand pollution shouldn’t be free. Under our plan, we’re pricing pollution, ⬇️ emissions, & putting more money back into pockets of families. With Climate Action Incentive, 8 in 10 families will get more money back than they pay.

Fact: Pricing pollution is the most efficient way to reduce emissions and stimulate investments in clean innovation. A price on pollution creates incentives for individuals, households, and businesses to choose cleaner options. Unlike Scheer's Conservatives, we have a plan.

Denis, income splitting only helped 12% of Canadians, largely benefitting well-off families. Broad tax reduction+tax-free Canada Child Benefit is more fair way to help low-income & middle-income families. Here is the PBO report.

Unfortunately Andrew Scheer is focused on saying things that are patently untrue while putting forward no climate plan. Climate change is one of biggest challenges we face & clean solutions present a huge economic opportunity. Time to come together. For our kids & grandkids.

Worth a read & a good reminder as we head into 2019. "You remember civility, the state of being polite, courteous and respectful in one's speech & behaviour? It still exists, but it's hiding under the bed to avoid being trampled by the angry mob."
