Bare lige en friendly reminder, nu hvor politikernes "klimakrisen kræver handling"-kommentarer starter: Et tweet løser ikke klimakrisen - det gør POLITISK handling. Rapporten slår fast, at klimaløsningerne allerede eksisterer. Det er viljen fra selvsamme politikere, som mangler

The state government in Massachusetts had a $3 billion surplus this year. That’s more than it costs to build a new MBTA line. Or a dozen new high schools. Or a seawall for a community going underwater. Instead, they refunded it to the taxpayers and I got $40

two insane historical facts about John Fetterman's win: the last time Dems won a race for this Senate seat was in 1962 John's ~5 point win is the highest margin a Dem has EVER gotten for this seat since they started doing popular vote elections in the early 1900s

Without Twitter, Ahmaud Arbery’s killers would’ve never been arrested. George Floyd’s death, even with the video, likely wouldn’t have sparked national outrage. Without twitter, we’re at the mercy of news outlets for reporting & you see how they publish police reports as fact.

There is an interesting pattern of latino heavy dem congressional races over performing expectations in states where ran long term bilingual latino outreach for a long period of time in those same Senate races. Compared to states/races that didn’t have this spending

If you are a Democrat anywhere in America who is frustrated that we’ll lose the House by so few seats: NY House losses were the reason & the man who theoretically could have averted this is named Jay Jacobs. And now we’re going to have him replaced, for proper accountability.

I need everyone to read this. The hot takes were wrong. The disconnect between the elites and regular people could not be more stark. We put our faith in the people of Pennsylvania. And they got it.

An incredible look at the PA-Sen race based on daily tracking of Fetterman & Oz favorable ratings by @Civiqs that we can now release. That "disastrous" debate? In reality, it helped Fetterman and stalled out Oz's improving favorable ratings. @kerryeleveld dailykos.com/stories/2022/1

As you see discourse on how to recreate Fetterman, recall that the establishment deemed him too leftie and desperately wanted Lamb. So, as a step one, how about we put an axe through “electability” and recall that the middle of the road is where you get run over.

The big driver of inflation right now is high rent. Rent rose 7.5% from Oct '21 to Oct '22 -- the largest increase since 1982. The other popular rent gauge, the "Owners’ equivalent rent," rose 6.9% -- the largest increase ever This really hurts. About 25% of Americans rent

If polls keep being wrong or misleading, maybe journalists should stop lavishing 90% of their political coverage on polls and instead do something like, I don't know, talk about the candidates' policy preferences and what effects they would be likely to have if implemented.

Oz saying “local political leaders” should be involved in abortion decisions was a massive blunder that every woman on the Fetterman team identified immediately. We made an ad that night on it. It was *the* defining moment of the debate that was overlooked by many in the media.

Can't stop thinking about how sexist it was to assume that abortion was a niche issue where Democrats overreached. Sexist because pundits treat women as a special interest group, not the majority of the voters & for thinking women don't care about rights if gas prices are high.

It turns out voters actually liked the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan and Inflation Reduction Act that you opposed and rewarded Democrats with a historic achievement in the midterms.

This should confound doomsayers in both parties. Given all the concerns voters had, it is hard not to see the election as a repudiation of MAGA extremism. THE CENTER HELD.
