So today @youtube has changed its requirements for people to become partnered. As a result MANY small channels are being demonetized and not promoted as much as before. When will @TeamYouTube stop this utter madness? They will kill their own platform at this rate

That honestly isn’t that bad. It will just make you have to work harder for it. If you want it bad enough you will get it.
Here is my issue, many smaller channels do it as a hobby, they fund that hobby with the small amount they earn from youtube. Now because youtube changes its policy these people may no longer be able to continue doing that.
