@TeamYouTube I'd like my subscribers to get notified when I livestream and I upload videos. I don't appreciate having to sacrifice Quality for Quantity. Singling groups of subscribers out for notifications is why the bell is there, it should not be a 'If we feel like it' system.

100% agree. I don’t know why
@YouTube thinks THEY can decide who watches my content. My subscribers are perfectly capable of making that decision themselves. That’s why they subscribed in the first place...

They really are just making it more work than it needs to be, some people in my last stream didn't get the stream notification/got it late even though they have notifications turned on and are active on my channel. It's ridiculous, if it's not broken don't fix it.

I imagine this whole “filtering notifications to only active subscribers” is actually more work than just notifying everyone who’s subscribed. The bell notification was never necessary in the first place.

Ikr, just when you think you know how to things work YouTube changes something - 90% of the time it's for the worse. I understand why they introduced the bell, I use the bell for channels I want to see all of their content from, I'm subbed to so many people it's useful to have.
