For that earlier Ancient Roman walkthrough post, I combined the game assets for the background plus the walkable area map (with the walls and walkable areas removed) to show interactable spots overlaid on the images! Apparently there's $5 on the ground in that yellow spot?

Unfortunately, it ends at 4 volumes, but it's a satisfying and cute story of a quick-tempered maid just trying to take care of her now quick-to-evil little brother without anyone finding out their identifies and ruining their quiet, peaceful life

She has a sickly brother at home to take care of, she doesn't have time to run around trying to defeat the Demon Lord! ...except her brother has become the new Demon Lord with a band of loyal demons. Adorable hijinks ensue as he gets jealous of any man who approaches his sister

Alright, beat it a second time. Having aim speed up, aim assist, and hold instead of mashing option helped a fair bit, though still pretty lukewarm on it overall. Might just have to accept it's not for me Props to all the accessibility options tho!

Similar to Village, there's also just so much debris everywhere near all the buildings? It feels really cramped in a "not sure if this is a path or a wall" kind of way. It's a solid game, and I love og 4 as an all time favorite, but not sure if I should just watch someone else

Alright, beat the RE4 demo. Idk, I didn't like Village and I'm kind iffy here too It feels like I'm fighting underwater? There's so much momentum that throws me off. Got more used to it at the village, but was missing shots with a broken knife killing chickens for eggs haha

Oninaki has significantly improved with the introduction of goth grim reaper girl. Not only is her gameplay much more fun with teleport dodge aoe infinite super health-steal galore, she's fashionably the best char in the game too~

Here's a good example lol. Used a skill, enemy shoots at me, I'm mashing any kind of move button and you can see how long it takes to happen

I unlocked a gunner cancel that... lets me cancel into an attack after a skill. Which doesn't move me, solving 0 problems. I'm just gonna switch to easy mode and enjoy the story... This way the partner char throws noob potions at me as an easy mode balance

It's so weird playing a low armor high damage range char who... can't move and is locked in place to do any skill. It feels like they had some good ideas, but just didn't execute the well. It's also not fun when you kill a crowd only for another one to spawn for no reason

Many like, gameplay QoL things like locking on, changing target while jumping, canceling a skill animation are locked behind a skill tree. I've pushed for some of these just to feel like I unlocked a normal-ass control scheme. I found a gunner, but her dash is a jump, no dodge?

So on the opposite coin, I'm impressed how much I hate the gameplay. I'm not usually one to get hung up on these things, but I don't know what the game wants me to do sometimes? For one it's pushing skills, but most of those lock you in place for ~5 seconds then you get hit?

Also Furyu games always have the coolest music in the world and this one's no different
