Exactly. Having been subjected to a Homeland Security investigation, I can attest the impact has nothing to do with "not having anything to hide." It's profoundly invasive, humiliating & damaging, even when there's nothing to find.

I used to believe “I have nothing to hide” until being terrorized by
@OttawaPolice b/c I tweeted things they didn’t like. “Leadership” sent 2 cops 2 my home 2threaten me w/ CRIM harassment chrgs re: 1 tweet & told me 2delete it, I didn’t,then they got my Twitter suspended 12hrs -

@OttawaPolice came to my door to threaten me with criminal harassment charges to terrorize me and told me I had to delete one tweet they didn’t like. Then they had my twitter account suspended to try to shut me up.
