Up until 2015 it wasn't needed. The technology wasn't available to shape the traffic. Then the ISPs started showing that they were going to slow down traffic they didn't like. And the need for regulation

You must be talking about Netflix and Verizon. Didn't you know, the two parties worked out a deal without the need of a 3rd party(the state).https://www.theverge.com/2014/4/28/5662580/netflix-signs-traffic-deal-with-verizon …

After the customer was screwed over. Losing
#NetNeutrality
would make it perfectly legal to throttle traffic or block sites entirely -
What customer was screwed over. Did this cause your netflix bill to go up? Internet?. You would rather trade that power to the government. What happens when your political opponents control the whitehouse.https://twitter.com/Fart_cry/status/941006049179561984 …

It slowed down Netflix speeds for people. Slower Netflix means not in HD. It means worse service. I like a rule that says you can't do that.

Welp. You clearly haven't read the "Restoring Internet Freedom" fact sheet put out a couple weeks ago. They have protections against throttle. Not taking those away. Only Title II reg. See page 83. http://transition.fcc.gov/Daily_Releases/Daily_Business/2017/db1122/DOC-347927A1.pdf …pic.twitter.com/jk9pQ3tYCi

Is this the thing that Comcast immediately backed away from? Anyway. If they aren't going to do anything bad, why do they need to lobby so hard.
