Not 775 homes, though. This argument has always been daft, each family needs a kitchen & bathroom not just a room; so a house/flat

I bet they would appreciate a room in place of nothing. At least until other arrangements can be made
-
Why would you pointlessly repurpose rooms in Bucks when there are thousands of empty houses already in London? Straw man argument
-
Then why is there such a huge problem?
-
Because the council/gov aren't doing their jobs (oh surprise)! They should have been put in temp accom immediately, hence why ppl so angry
-
if the government had done their job in the first place, we wouldn't be having this argument.

No kidding. The country is riddled with empty castles. Those people lost everything. Where's the love and support?!
-
For the record ... the country isn't riddled with empty castles ffs ... state of that tweet

-
Chatsworth, Warwick, Blenheim, Sandringham. Windsor. Balmoral etc. Some houses, some castles: plenty of rooms though.
-
Warwick is mainly a tourist attraction. Been there numerous times, wouldn't house people there.
-
One down: I'll put in Alnwick Castle home of the Percy family instead.
-
Hardly riddled though wouldn't you agree?
-
Riddled is a hard to define word. Now France is definitely riddled with empty chateaux.
-
TBH, habitation, building and fire regulations would deny these being used for social housing. Losing a tower block is hard to plan for.

Yes it's curious how much public anger is directed at May while UK's #1 land-owner HRH gets applause. Class runs deep in C21st Britain.
-
The Conservatives are the party of the ruling class, so hardly curious at all
-
But point taken that bowing to the Royals shows how confused this country is
