wire is nice. like if slack and signal had a baby. we mostly use it for gifs, which is good fun. also tweaks signal to noise ratio :D

I find Wire particularly slow and ugly compared to Signal and Telegram, but I like the idea of encrypted group chats.
-
its nice not having to send your phone number to tons and tons of strangers. hello ss7 attacks!
-
That’s a big problem with Signal. I think you should be able to publish a public key so people can verify it’s you they’re talking to.

@Snowden! I know you did not miss this one https://www.x41-dsec.de/reports/Kudelski-X41-Wire-Report-phase1-20170208.pdf … As well, complete implementation review is in final stage.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

While the first part might be fair to say (that
@Wire hasn't been as heavily studied), Signal has numerous shortcomings that Wire doesn't. -
Not to mention that the UI of Signal is terrible, and doesn't have even half of the features that
@Wire does. -
Thanks :) Was thinking of more algorithmical advantages but of course those are valid points too!

Yes I'm a big fan. Have been using it for a while. Chatting to some of the team. Go say hi. Nice folk with hearts in the right place.
