Few techs doubt that Russians could have a hand in hacks, but public policy requires public evidence. Trump can't roll back declassification

Why are you even discussing this? What does this have to do with domestic spying?

You are taking refuge in a belligerent foreign nation accused of assaulting the American republic, maybe try some discretion.

TIL 'taking refuge' = 'having your passport revoked by your home nation. Cool

Public evidence is nice, but it is completely understandable that this evidence would not be public. Seriously...

then why not sanctions against China for hacking the Pentagon? Which is far more aggressive than a dnc hack

In some ways, there probably will be/are sanctions, but Russia directly interfered w/an election. That is a lot worse.

I disagree. Far more important info in the Pentagon database than there is in DNC emails. National security>pride

It's not the DNC that is at issue in this. The issue is compromise of election proceedings. These I would rank higher.

in reality, the emails showed the corruption inside the DNC. You think public is better of not knowing than knowing?

That being said, it doesn't change that the way information was shared in targeted fashion was attack on election.

Wrong! By acknowledging knowledge of a hack means whoever hacked knows how we know. Leaks get plugged.
