On #FBIvsApple, would those supportive of compelling Apple to harm their product similarly support compelling doctors to harm a patient?

@Snowden I think it's a bad analogy. Patients - people - have rights. Products don't. What's injured isn't the product, it's people's rights -
@zarkonnen_com Do you understand how badly those rights have been invaded?@Snowden -
@Poppsikle@Snowden Yes, totally. I think Apple is doing the right thing, I just think the product-patient analogy is a bad one. -
@zarkonnen_com Apple is looking for cheap acclaim for an enormous problem which is unresolved.@Snowden -
@Poppsikle@zarkonnen_com@Snowden Likewise the FBI leverages the pain and sorrow and fear in order to trample your privilege of security. -
@ruurd@zarkonnen_com@Snowden Security is a very important issue, at the moment, we have not near enough of it. From both sides.

@Snowden I think the Government needs to work with Apple to find middle ground. Shouldn't have to be all or nothing. - 1 more reply

@Snowden I suspect those people are also the sort who advocate torture, which is pretty close. - 1 more reply

@Snowden :i respect u immnsely! but how'll breakng admin p/word for a single (criminal) user on his specific handset harm the product itslf? -
@AndyRayWimbldon@Snowden It's not a "single" user, it's EVERY user being vulnerable moving forward. -
@AndyRayWimbldon@Snowden What would stop the FBI from sharing it w/every LE agency?Their "promise"?What would stop hackers from getting it? -
@BobbiSue_Badass@AndyRayWimbldon@Snowden As I understand, it's Apple signing the iOS that prevents future misuse. We should focus on that. -
@BobbiSue_Badass@AndyRayWimbldon@Snowden Also, this may not be an issue long. The hack FBI is requesting won't work on iPhone 6/7?
