      Edward Snowden Retweeted Privacy International

The UK just admitted the global mass surveillance system was used against civil society—people like you. These programs were never about crime or terrorism, they're about power. It's about control.https://twitter.com/privacyint/status/1044547574546538496 …

      Edward Snowden added,

MASSIVE - Court documents reveal UK intelligence agency unlawfully spied on Privacy International. We have been fighting against mass #surveillance for years. People are like, "what kind of power?" The power to always know everything about anyone, so that you can control the outcome of anything they try to do. Sound abstract? It's your stalker ex, but with a military.

I'd like to know how people in a "so called free country" could excuse or justify surveillance in the first place, either in the U.S. or anywhere else! We need to stop scaring ourselves with fake "boogie men."

In a truly free country, nobody should have to remind you, your free. Unless you have WPI (Wealth, Power and Influence), you are just a drone. A cog in the machine. The only way to be free is to ditch all your technology, your job and life as you know it and go off the grid.

After being an unwitting #Whistleblower the experience changed my life for the worst. The Police claimed I had Ideas of Grandeur stating I was NOT a W/B & alleged threats to kill Boris Johnson all charges / claims dismissed by an Independent Tribunal.

Good for you! The fabricated evidence used against me the Independent Tribunal saw it for what it was pure and utter fabrication and released me. I got some Justice but my life work was ruined in the process.

I recently had similar experience with fabrication of evidence, good job for me the judge didn't believe what was being said, or I'd now be doing ten or so years. But I know first hand how they manipulate facts and bend truths, even ignore evidence that shows you are innocent.

For example: Do you want to lead a rally against your Leader, PM, President? "Oh, it would be a shame if your porn history were made public, Mr. X." Seem far-fetched in a "law and order" country like the USA? Ask MLK how word of his marital infidelity got out.

They have exposed my porn collection to a large audience as part of their attack on me. It is an inevitable consequence of their all-encompassing surveillance. I have no shame about this, but they’re judgmental. They tell me this is the reason, but they’re reallly about control.
