That is censorship, and censorship for no good reason. Alex Jones and his fake news and conspiracies and hate speech needed to be censored, but discussing him is important and not the same thing as being him. Do better @TeamYouTube

There’s a difference between censorship and removing someone from a private platform for hate speech

I cannot argue about the right of a company to ban someone they don't like, just don't take a moral high ground saying it is "hate speech".

I know that whatever he says, he has the right to say it, even if I don't agree with it. Hate speech is a subjective concept.

He still has the right to say it (in some jurisdictions at least), but a private corporation is under no obligation to pay to host his content on their website. Comprende?

That literally is his point. He's saying it's censorship and violates right of free speech, but it doesn't... because it's a private entity that can choose what content to publish on their platform. It's a simple concept

Here’s the deal: Alex Jones broke YouTube’s ToS by spewing his nonsense on the platform. He’s got the first amendment right to spew it all day long and he can choose the platform he wants. However, if he violates a platform’s ToS.. poof. He’s done.
