Arena has same cards as the Standard format in MTG, so resources on actual MTG will be of equal use. They changed arena economy in a recent patch, might invalidate old arena resources. GL!

The main problem I am having as a total nub is not knowing what decks are actually good and what are homemade trash or memes. I put all my resources into making one deck I found and I don't know whether the deck is bad or I am bad.

It seems way too reactive and it feels like I spend forever drawing out the game, dying slowly with no way of swinging it back.

I’m not sure what you ended up crafting, but Standard has a wide variety of viable strategies at the moment. Some are proactive and others are reactive - what deck did you build?

[2/2] with Torment of Scarabs or a big Torment of Hailfire. This strategy isn't consistent and is weak against decks that go wide on the board or can play lots of things early, because you only have 3 sweeps (and 2 of them freeze your lands for a turn)

I die to fast decks and I die to slow decks and I have no idea what I'm playing or what I'm playing around. :) I'm flopping about in silver like a confused fish. :)
