I think the only way to get a difinitive answer would be to poll uncircumcised guys and ask them if they wish their parents did it for them, but also ask circumsized guys if they wish their parent did not do it for them. I'd bet most are happy with whatever their parents did.
Circumcision is trauma? As someone who was circumsized I disagree 100%. I am very thankful my parents got this done for me just as I am very thankfuk that my parents kept religion away from myself and my siblings. Would you be against circumcision if it was done genetically?

Most circumcisions around the world are indeed done for religion, as was done to me. I have no religious-freedom as I have a Jewish scar on my genitals showing were I was assaulted and damaged. You can't remove 20,000 nerves and 15 sq inches of penis tissue without causing damage
-
I'm against it for religious reasons. Sorry to hear you have a scar. Mine is equivalent to the Mona Lisa or Statue of David. An absolute masterpiece. I wouldn't have it any other way myself and am quite greatful
-
I wonder if admiring the scars that other people put on your genitalia could be one of those things that could be classified as 'denial'?
-
No. I don't have scars. Could refusing to accept that others are proud of their package and wouldn't have it any other way and are thankful to have been circumsized be a form of denial? I think that's more accurate.
-
Be proud as you want to be. I have no problem with that! But you had no choice over your own body, and that is something that is no longer tolerated in western societies. If you want to have half your penis cut off, do it as an adult with informed consent. You have scars.
-
Nobody is cutting half or anyone's penis off. I don't know where you get that idea from. Circumcision does not reduce the length of someone's cock.
-
Yes it does. If you restrict the skin during an erection, it will be shorter.

I work in the porn industry. I see a hundreds of dicks everu day and I have no idea what you're talking about.

Say there was a genetic modification that would make it so the baby grew as normal but never formed a foreskin because the genes for it were turned off while it was forming into a fetus? Would you be against that? In that case the foreskin would never have even existed.
-
What have you got against the foreskin? I'm trying to restore, because I hate the feeling of my glans & mucosal tissue rubbing on my underwear. I used to think tight erections were normal, but they were not. All the sex I've had in my life has been unnatural. Should be my choice?
-
I honestly think it looks revolting. I have no idea what those medical terms you mention means but I wear boxers and have no issues. Never had any sex problems except maybe it would be nice if I could last a bit longer.

Trauma? Here you are! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_1z0QJGoiY ….

There's your trauma right there.
-
Do other people have trauma? maybe. Did I or I? No.
-
So you had a good experience, does that mean it should be legal? Some kids below the age of 18 have had sex with adults, loved it and don't regret it even now they are adults... does that mean age of consent laws should be abolished?
-
Of course not. Why are you making ridiculous fallacious arguments?

Why would you be happy to lose 1/2 your penis skin and nerves? It is the best part of the penis. What do you mean by "if it was done genetically?" There is no medical reason to cut babies. I feel angry every time I pee that I can't experience sex or masturbation as it should be.

That is a very interesting question that I haven't heard posed before. Of course that is not current reality. Please watch this video and let me know what you think. I am honestly interested.https://youtu.be/Ec92eRrnWdY
