He said quarantine is dumb. Social Distancing and quarantine are intertwined. Also, I don't know which Asian Countries you're referring to. China got fucked, so did Japan, Singapore just got another outbreak, Indonesia is fucked, so is India. I could go on....

Japan did not get “fucked”, what are you talking about? Singapore has also had very low deaths even with a second wave. Taiwan seems to be handling the best.

most Asian countries found no need to shutdown because their daily lives are already pretty safe, masks are a daily item. they acted quickly in shutting down borders and spreading awareness. they didn't downplay it like the US did. ironic for you to call me ignorant

"Acted pretty quickly"? Are you kidding? China, acted quickly? Japan? South Korea had tens of thousands of infections before they knew they had any - entirely lost control. What "acting quickly"?
Masks are not a "daily item" in Asia. They *became* a daily item.

I have 8 medical professionals in my family. They say the crappy porous masks being used aren't very effective. This virus doesn't kill healthy people at a rate higher than other common viruses.
