HOT TAKE ALERT: If you can't have kids (for whatever reason) and you choose to spend huge amounts of time and money on either treatments or renting a woman's womb rather than just adopting a child in need -- you are a narcissist.
And this argument can be used for TIMs! I feel strongly about this as there is a stupid amount of extremely poor children in my community who have no parents, and no one is willing to adopt them.

I cried when I saw Prof Winston in UK house of lords talking about many women facing infertility and miscarriages. I cant find the clip but these words explain the basic reproductive needs of many women https://www.parallelparliament.co.uk/r/lord/lord-winston/debate/Lords/2021-02-22/debates/EF8A7974-0A9C-4F17-B9DC-B7D26E52D52F/MinisterialAndOtherMaternityAllowancesBill/contrib/c58f5a3e-21d9-42c2-b7fc-cfe79b0a2261 …

Do you realise how difficult it is to actually adopt a child? In my country there were less than 350 total adoptions last year, and that includes intracountry adoptions. 249 of those adoptions were know adoptions where the child is already known to the adoptive parents.
