Shows just how far ahead Valve have been and still is than other game developers for in-game tools like spectating, with Dota 2 and CSGO as shining examples. HLTV for CS (and Quake GTV) has been around a long time. Player POV's is essential for FPS esports, especially BR games.

I understand what you mean, but this was standard about 15 years ago in cs/quake.

besides most fighting games, digital TCG's, pokemon, clash royale, tetris... I mean I could go down a list like this for a fair bit but my point is that it's not always completely necessary. could more FPS's benefit from following suit? absolutely, but it's not paramount to view.
How does it work ? it will be like interactive buttons on the stream or into twitch settings ?
