@SlackHQ Any recent issue with Local time? I have tried setting custom timezone, also tried switching Mac's timezone, the auto timezone is disabled, tried without the mobile app as well, but the local time seems to jyst remain the same as current location whwn traveling.
There shouldn't be any issues, although we do recommend you select "Set time zone automatically". Is there any particular reason you don't want that? Timezones are somewhat broken in versions 4.5.0 and below, so please also ensure your Slack desktop app is up-to-date.

Yes, to ensure it's easier for others to know your actual work times when you are here and there. It was working before, somehow noticed today when I tried to change and it did not work. I tried latest app install as well, doesnt seem to help.

noticed one thing: Set a custom TZ in desktop, does not show correctly still in desktop, but ios app showed it correctly, and after a min, again switched back to current timezone though autoset was disabled. basically have been trying to set a custom local timezone which persists
