I'm interested in adding buttons in the slack notifications we receive from Jenkins. What would be the rough steps to do that? Start with a slack app?
We're afraid the message payloads sent from the integration can not be customised. Sorry for the bad news. We'll let the team know you're interested in this, however!

You're very welcome! It seems Riot built this using Docker and Jenkins, and are using Block Kit for the message payloads. You can test out Block Kit payloads and all the formatting that’s possible with that via Block Kit builder here: https://bit.ly/39VweId
