The person who emailed me responded to other problems I reported. She described an eight step process for opening a link in a message. That is a ridiculous accessibility barrier compared with a cited user just tapping on it.

The process for adding an emoji reaction is almost as long. This is absolutely not “usability.“ also the problem I described was not always knowing when reaction was added to one of my own messages.
