Thanks for listening ! LOVE the quick search shortcut, but the link in composer doesn’t seem to have a shortcut could try to learn a new one if it existed. Or better yet, continue with universal usage of command-k and make quick search something else

Yes meant command-k should be the shortcut to link text within composing a message, the same for the same action in other products. Then a different shortcut could be for quick search..Right now there isn’t any shortcut for links, so it’s manual

Yep! Double checked that article to make sure I wasn’t missing the link shortcut. As most of the rest of the formatting bar has shortcuts. Use case is to link the text ; pasting a long figma or coda url can be visually noisy so try to link text most often

Ah good use case! Copying the figma link and then pasting it into your Slack text should certainly work to hyperlink and would be nicer to look at!

Yep so the link format option works for just that. But there’s no keyboard shortcut for it... And keep mistakenly using command-k instead , since that’s the shortcut on other platforms for that action.
