@SlackHQ what use case made you guys add the (edited) label feature?

hmm i get it i was just wondering how it helped me as a user. extra features are never bad, but thought it might hold some interesting insight to user behaviour. is it in any way a vestigial feature?
Not vestigial at all! We like to be transparent so knowing when a message has been edited (and so possibly the context changed) is important. If you hover over the (edited) it will show you the timestamp of the last edit if you're looking to up the utility of the label.
