Yeah, can I turn this new feature off? Hard to navigate with the keyboard.

There isn't a way to turn it off, but we'd love to hear your feedback on it! Is there a particular reason why you’re looking to switch back to the original experience? When you say it's more difficult to navigate with the keyboard, what does that look like for you? Thank you.

As a user w/ a remote dev team, I want to type /g[Tab] to get "/giphy "(auto completed). Then type a phrase for a quick reaction to what's being said, before the next topic, Shuffle, Cancel, type /[Tab] NOTE, no 'g'. This allows me to fully edit my prior phrase. genius experience

This should work for all slash-commands, giphy is just an example.
