I’ve been waiting for this! So much easier to use. It might be nice if the preview rendered more faithful to the way it will display when posted...could greatly impact what additional description is added. But, great start.

If the share sheet more closely resembled how the object will render in the feed then it makes it easier to contextualize the description you (may) want to add. Today, the share sheet shows a fugly URL while the feed renders the URL with some purdy metadata.pic.twitter.com/QFkIMZlCFM

Also, sometimes things render in very unexpected ways and if you knew a certain image would be included you’d never of shared it in the first place. More transparency means folks feel safer sharing with their colleagues. So, win-win.

Btw one thing I’m noticing is the share extension is not appearing consistently. Sometimes it’s available, sometimes it isn’t. Unfortunately, this happens in safari, chrome and other apps. I’ve been unable to figure out the heuristics but it’s def not appearing when it should.

Hi Daniel! We'd love to have you write in so we can gather some mobile logs and look into it. From within the Slack app, you can go to the "You" tab > Preferences > tap "Submit feedback" and link to this tweet thread for context.
