@SlackHQ "Threads" at the top of the left side-panel always shows as unread for me (bold). The only way to clear it is to shift+esc and restart Slack. Any ideas? Running on a Mac Version 4.11.2

Does clearing cache help? While in the app, select Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache & Restart from the top left menu of your Mac (this will clear any active drafts). Did that do the trick? If not, please write in to us at feedback@slack.com, and we can investigate further.
