New fun with @SlackHQ...create a private channel, invite a bot and another person. Leave the channel. The other person can't leave. They have to invite someone else before they can leave.

Yes, this is correct.
A channel can't be left with zero members. If you don't have permission to archive channels then you're stuck. This is a bug and we'll try to fix it!

This is still a problem
@SlackHQ
Why not just let channels have no one in them and auto-ping an admin so they can delete it if necessary...1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 0 polubionych -

Sorry for the trouble. Could you try refreshing your Slack instance a few times, to see if this updates the channel members list? If you're on the desktop app, you can do this by pressing Cmd/Ctrl+R. If that doesn't work, could you please write us at feedback@slack.com?

Thanks for the additional context there! This sounds like a great idea for how channels are archived currently so we'll be sure to add it to the mix in future

-_- But this has been an issue for over 2 years, hence the original thread from January 2018

Apologies if we weren't clear — this behaviour is still something we're figuring out the best way to address, so we appreciate your suggestion on improving the experience.
