Another thing I wish @SlackHQ did better. When I copy-paste an image and add text, please place the text below the image after it's been sent.

You know you could ask first if you want slackbot to continue showing such messages or show previews and we can select no or yes depending on our preference.
Got it. Makes sense! Some of what you're requesting is possible — go to Preferences > Messages & media > uncheck the boxes next to "Show images and files from linked websites" and "Show text previews of linked websites".

Somewhat! If you go to "Advanced" in the preferences instead of "Messages & media", you should see two things you can uncheck: 1. "Send me occasional channel suggestions via Slackbot". 2. "Send me occasional surveys via Slackbot".pic.twitter.com/rrvPEZcWaZ
