I think I found another bug @SlackHQ I'm able to reproduce. Create a post and share it on the channel. Then try to pin it, where there are no pins available anymore. The share will be removed from the channel discussion.

When you say "there are no pins available anymore", what do you mean by that? You already have 100 pinned items for the channel?
