@SlackHQ Any plans for offering secure and trusted app/bot hosting to belay the risk of content going to unknown and untrusted destinations?
Or, any reports on the security posture of endpoints hosting Slack apps? How are customers to know their content is safe?

No plans at the moment. But every app in our App Directory goes through a careful Security Review to identify and fix any vulnerabilities and issues with submissions before approval: https://api.slack.com/security-review .

Does that verify all of the endpoints the app sends data to? And if the app’s privacy policy says it doesn’t retain data, do y’all verify that?
