@SlackHQ hello, is there a way to remove the profile icons in the left-hand DM column? The UI is so cluttered now and makes it difficult to browse :( A toggle in preferences would be ideal. Any guidance would be extremely appreciated. Thank you for the work you're doing. 
Hi Karl! The new avatars are part of our sidebar updates. Sorry this missed the mark for you! Although we don't plans to revert back to the old version, we are tracking feedback on this change. We'll be sure to pass this along for you!
