Every once in a while it pops up for every workspace. I use
@ramboxapp so the browser is Chromium. It would be great if you could store that preference in my profile instead of a cookie, too. I can always enable it if I want all the notifications. You don’t need to keep asking.
Thanks for that info. Unfortunately Rambox isn't one of our supported browsers, so there may be some difference in behaviour. It's expected for that message to display in Preferences > Notifications, rather than to pop up in browser. Are you clearing Slack cookies occasionally?

I’m just tired of getting asked about notifications all the time. If it’s not this workspace it’s another. Use a new browser? It asks again. And again. Just aks once please
I am not clearing slack cookies on purpose, and it doesn’t seem like rambox is (I keep being logged in). -
Part of the technical challenge is "remembering" what preference has been previously set when changes occur within the browser when it auto-updates. Your browser settings (or your settings on the desktop app) are more permanent than settings in Slack on a browser. Apologies!
