@SlackHQ when I get a message notification on my phone and then I read the message on desktop, the notification on my phone doesn't go away.
whatsapp for example doesn't do that, the notification is gone once I read it on desktop.
would it be possible for you to do the same?

I think both but more noticeable on iOS since it’s my main phone . But my Android is full of slack notifications when I pick it up at night
