Is there a way to make @SlackHQ honor the do not disturb setting on my mac? I'm using pomodoro timers to focus and slack just says "fuck you, ding ding ding" relentlessly
Yikes! Sorry for the disruption. Have you set DND through Slack itself, or at the OS level? And is Slack only making notification sounds (no pop-ups), or are the pop-ups appearing too despite the DND settings?

When DND is set at the OS level, you still get the notification sounds. I guess apple doesn't provide an API to detect this based on a cursory Google search. I'll just mute slack. Au revoir, knock brush
