@SlackHQ - how do I get rid of the cluttered chat icon mess you just rolled out?
Hey there! Sorry for the trouble with our new update, unfortunately it isn't possible to disable the user profile images in the sidebar currently. We're listening to all feedback though — and we'll let the team know you would like to have the option of disabling this.

Yup, this ain't great. The main information I want next to a DM's name is their status, and this makes it harder to discern.

Thanks, the ability to toggle them off would be helpful. Even on a massive screen the profile icons are so small you can't even identify any specific user based on their profile picture.
