@SlackHQ Please allow users to remove the avatar photo option. The sidebar is cluttered, it's difficult to see who is online and in DMs with more than one person it's just a number. Images in the sidebar, in the messages and the top right corner makes the whole thing junky.
Thanks for reaching out! We updated this in order to help users better find their teammates, and generally make Slack feel more intuitive and familiar to use. While there isn't a way to revert to the previous sidebar, we'll make a note that this is something you'd like to see.
