Tagging systems would be helpful if they were actionable. DMs have become the new Slack channels. Msgs need a new way to gain priority. If I could tag a message that needed to be responded too by someone and subsequently untagged confirming receipt, that would change my workflow

An interesting thought! Would a secondary emoji do the trick? For example, to draw attention to a task, then when it's been actioned?

Something like that would be great! As long as I could easily see my “To Do’s” and “Assigned” messages. Obviously don’t want it to become a secondary Jira board to deal with . It would likely make threads more bearable. Just one persons thoughts though. Slack is our lifeline
