@SlackHQ please bring back the old favicon I don't like having to squint at the new one to see what my status is!

No the "favicon" is the little image in the browser tab. It has always been the nice bold white hash sign/red dot, which makes it easy to see when I have unread Slack messages. It just changed to a smaller icon with a subtle white background/small red dot
Ah=h gotcha. Yes, this is something we're revisiting after hearing feedback like this! You should see some improvements soon — thanks for bearing with us in the meantime.
