Please remove my colleagues' profile pictures from Slack Sidebar. What I want is just a status display. How can I get rid of these pictures? I don't want profile pictures.

Same here. It's near impossible to quickly identify a user's status if their avatar has a green or greenish background- the negative space border is insufficient for differentiating between the two at the sizes rendered on the sidebar.
Thanks for the feedback! Good point. You can change the presence indicator colour via your theme preferences, but there isn't one colour that's going to work for all avatars. We'll think on this.
