Does anyone else have a real problem with the new @SlackHQ sidebar showing avatars on the list of direct messages rather than only a status icon? Being able to quickly glance and see who is available is paramount - seeing their avatars, less so.
Thanks for the feedback on this, Joshua! We will be sure to share it along. One note is that if you create a custom Slack theme you can change the status indicator to a colour that might be more visible. Head to Preferences > Themes > Create Custom Theme > Active Presence
