Please remove my colleagues' profile pictures from Slack Sidebar. What I want is just a status display. How can I get rid of these pictures? I don't want profile pictures.

Or roll them out in beta with a preference setting to opt out (and a pop up notification announcing the new feature and how to revert). Then, run analytics a week later to see the % of users that opted out before deploying to production.
We appreciate the feedback and will definitely give it some thought.
