@SlackHQ any way to turn off showing avatars on the side-bar?

The new design looks very cluttered and makes it difficult to quickly ascertain who is currently online. At least add a Preference setting to let users choose to use the previous design with the simple status circles.
Hi there! We really appreciate the feedback on this. One note, you can change the colour of the status indicator by setting a custom theme via Preferences > Themes > Create a Custom Theme > "Active Presence". This may make it more less difficult to see!

Could you move the status dot to the left side of the avatar (centered)? In other words, like the previous design except with the avatars added in between the dot and the name.
