@SlackHQ How to mute Slackbot, please? All I can find is how to mute a channel, which is not what I want to do. Thank you!

It is worse than Microsofts Clippy as others have suggested. The red notification indicates something important has been said by somebody I care about. Seeing that somebody has renamed a channel should not rise to the same level as a direct message from my boss.
