As for the up arrow, you can set this as a preference per-workspace: https://slack.com/help/articles/115003340723-Keyboard-accessibility-in-Slack-#set-your-u8593-up-arrow-preference … Regardless of the setting, you can always use Ctrl+↑ or ⌘+↑ to edit your most recent message.
