I work with a team in a different time zone, so I often see a Slackbot msg:
"[username] has paused their notifications for a bit..."
I don't ever need to see this, particularly since I also see
"[username] has notifications turned off".
Can this be disabled?

We always do our best to carefully consider all suggestions, Stuart. It's not something that's on our current roadmap, but who knows what the future will bring?

Gotcha. Can you explain why so many indications are seen as necessary? There's the
icon next to the username, "[username] has notifications turned off" at the bottom of the DMs, and the Slackbot message. It's overkill IMO, and fills the chat with needless repetitive msgs. -
I realize this might've come off as snarky, but I assure that wasn't my intention. I'm genuinely curious about what sort of user story / design process leads to this level of "this person is not available" messaging.
