Compression on image uploads (and even image previews) seems to be set to,on a scale from 1 to 10, 11.
Is there a particular format you're seeing this on or device you're uploading from?

Your /feedback already helped me: 1. I can disable it in Preferences > Advanced 2. The behavior is different for Cellular vs Wifi
