But it no longer works as before: previously I would get a drop-down with all the people in the organisation called bob, select the one I wanted and carry on with my message. Now I can't figure out how to do that anymore.
Thanks for bringing that to our attention so we can think on it for future improvements! While it's not a perfect workaround, you can always try "/msg" > Enter > then type Bob, and the list will come up. We appreciate you bearing with us, and sharing your feedback.

Thanks. Unfortunately this immediately switches to a new convo and prevents the user from copy-pasting something from the current convo while typing the message. My current workaround is to first type
@bob and autocomplete, go back to the beginning of the line, and type /msg

Ah, we see what you mean. In that case you can type "/msg @-bob" > Enter > when you hover over the name the option to select the right person should appear. Apologies for the confusion here.
