@SlackHQ, can you let me know why your app constantly requires my admin password? What could you possibly be doing, some times multiple times a day, that requires such privileges?

Definitely none of those. Why do you even need my admin password to download an update? Considering I "dragged" the application from a dmg to my applications folder, requiring admin privileges seems a bit over the top
The app might be trying to update but doesn't have the permission to do so, which can happen depending on how it was installed.
